The first functioning version of my C++ IPv6 calculator has just been uploaded to GitHub. I developed it as an exercise to apply both knowledge as a developer and some basic networking concepts.

I created my first own Linux distribution compiling it piece by piece. I connected to the new OS, installed in a virtual machine, via SSH. So far it works only on a terminal but I plan to add a dextop environment.

My Genoese card game is now installable on Windows, in his simple version human player vs random bots (inspired by Genoese comedy). https://github.com/acostahorn/ciapachinze/releases/download/Genova/CirullaSetup_v1.4.exe

I added more characters for the bots, taken from beloved Genoese comedy "I manezzi pe' maia' na figgia". Although improvements will be applied to the bot logic in the future, this is already a minimum viable product. I am shortly deploying it both for Windows and Linux.

An interactive desktop application developed in C++ and Qt that implements the classic Cirulla, the traditional Genoese card game. Profile & Avatar Management: Username entry with preliminary validation and optional loading of a custom profile image (avatar).\n' Hall of Fame (Leaderboard): A dynamic statistical table tracking played matches and the win rate, automatically sorted using standard algorithms and enhanced with thumbnails and a customized podium. Rules Section: A dedicated window for quick consultation of the game rules integrated via read-only text components. Customized Interface: Themed dialog windows with custom backgrounds and styled stylesheets (QSS) for a cohesive visual experience. Data Persistence: Saving and loading game data using structured files (JSON). Language: C++ (modern standards) GUI Framework: Qt (Widgets, QTableWidget, QLayouts) Structure: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) class architecture. The program runs locally and allows the user to have a match with 4 bots. Planned: increase number of bots giving them a unique personality (short term). Online version with the possibility of having connected human playing the game with a mix of human and bots, or up to 4 humans (medium term).

I have just received my HNC certificate, which confirms officially that I achieved the award with distinction.

Inspired by the fast-paced card game from my hometown, Cirulla, I am implementing its complex rules to develop a professional card game interface using C++ and Qt. I created a vector that gives a score to the potential moves so that the bots can make a decision based on the strength of the move. So far, the game option is only player vs machine, but I am willing to extend the functionality to include an online gaming experience for people connected remotely.
